NaNo goal reached! It was not a good day for writing on the novel. But I bribed myself with the Star Trek DVD that just came in the mail, so now I get to go watch it! Whee! Because I really need another fandom. Yup.

YES worth watching! I can see why the fandom took off like it did, too: the characters are so well-drawn, and the Star Trek universe is so, so, so much bigger than one movie. I mean, it was a big movie in terms of effects, but I know the Trek universe from seven seasons of TNG.

tl;dr: now I want a Star Trek reboot TV show, because the movie wasn't enough.
