This is my semi-anonymous fandom journal -- right now, it's pretty much devoted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the books of Tamora Pierce. I write character-heavy, plot-weak short fics for both fandoms. I write drabbles. I write disorganized essays about what fiction make me think about the world. I was a women's studies and communications major in college (the first time), so I analyze things from a feminist standpoint, and I believe fiction matters. I like femslash, though that's certainly far from the only thing you'll find here.

In real life, I'm a cook and the owner of a bunch of rescued dogs, but mostly this journal isn't about real life.
