Smackdown Non-Analysis

If it's not already obvious: I'm not doing a Smackdown Analysis this time. Usually I write them when I'm still thinking about the Smackdown but I need a break from writing fic, and that hasn't happened this round: I can't stop writing Kel/Buri fic! I'm  not complaining, at all. I'm just a bit perplexed, wondering where all this is coming from. Granted, I know some of it is pretty bad, and I'm totally going to post it anyway, because I can.

Ok, right. It's going on 3:30 a.m. here, and I can't believe I'm even awake, but now I'm all rambly. Must channel that into more fic!

But have you been back over there? The scary thing is, if Ren hadn't picked up where I left off, it still wouldn't have been enough. This is making me ever gladder that I pretty much stayed out of the Dom v. Wyldon fight.

I owe you two my happiness, I really do. I would've cried if I completely lost another two fights (even if I'm happy with the Baird v. Owen outcome). I'm not good with losing.

OMG, you have no idea. I was getting about four hours of sleep every night, and was hopped up on caffeine and writing stories while I was at work... it was *awful*. The morning of the fight's end, I got up at 5 AM to post my last 15 fics (after about three hours of fitfull sleep) and was so wired - even in my utter MISERY - that I didn't get to sleep until 6 AM the next morning.

For this reason alone, I'm a wee bit relieved Wyldon didn't make it to round 2 (though I'm still slightly devastated).

Lol, yeah. I quite like most of the other characters that are through to Round 2, so I won't mind so much if one I like slightly more loses. Whereas it would've been devasting if someone as awesome as Buri lost to someone like Joren! :P

Yeah, that's kind of how I felt about it, too. Kel/Joren almost automatically falls into a lot of tropes that I hate, so though some of the Joren fics over there are just beautiful, it hasn't changed my fundamental view of the ship.
