Fandom: Tamora Pierce (all books)
1. The character I first fell in love with: Alanna, when I first read the books um, dear God, 18 years ago.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Kel. I liked her from the start, but I just keep liking her more.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Tris. Sure, she can do anything, and that's awesome. But her prickliness is hard to deal with, sometimes.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Aly. Ok, not everyone hates her, but a lot of people say she's Mary Sue-ish. I don't totally disagree. But I love her anyway.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Jory, the attention-deficit cook-mage. :) I used to love her because I identified with her. I still have affection for her, but it's no longer love; she now reminds me of the crazy spaz I once was, and that's not entirely comfortable.
6. The character I would shag any time: Buri!
7. The character I'd want to be like: Clary Goodwin
8. The character I'd slap: Prince Jonathan.
9. A pairing that I love: Lark/Rosethorn.
10. A pairing that I despise: Daine/Numair, pre-Lady Knight. I'm cool with the age difference and mentor/student is actually sort of a kink of mine. But it still bothers me, I think because Daine was so confused and, well, damaged when they met. Maybe someday I'll write a meta that explains it better.
11. Favourite character: If I have to pick one, it's Kel. But honestly, even narrowing it down to 5 is hard...
12. My five favourite characters: Kel, Clary Goodwin, Raoul, Neal, Daja
13. My five least favourite characters: Tough question, since mostly I love them all. Jonathan (especially from when Alanna starts sleeping with him until the end of SotL), Liam (the shang dragon), Nawat, Varice, Ben Ladradun
14. Which character I am most like: Beka.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: Nothing is dark or secret in this fandom!! Ok, I totally ship Sandry/Daja, which some people think is weird.
